The public data of Koreans under universal health coverage can be utilized for medical research, enabling the timely production of economic and clinical evidence. The National Evidence-based Healthcare Collaborating Agency (NECA) has a legal basis for accessing public data from different organizations. 

This study aimed to integrate Korean public data, focusing on healthcare technology assessment.
